Mary Angelino’s recent publications include The Plentitudes International, Fairy Tale Review, The Southern Review, The Arkansas International, and Waxwing. Her work was featured in the Southern Humanities Review, where she received an honorable mention for the 2019 Auburn Witness Poetry Prize, and has appeared in the Best New Poets 2017, 2015, and 2010 anthologies. Her full-length poetry manuscript has been longlisted for the Crab Orchard First Book Award, the Sexton Prize, and the Miller Williams Prize. Mary is an English professor at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California, her community college alma mater, where she runs the Poets & Writers Reading Series, a 22-year tradition that celebrates COC student, staff, and faculty writing. Since 2018, she has been on the Sidewalk Poetry Project’s selection committee for the Santa Clarita Arts Council. You can learn more at maryangelino.com.
