Thomas E. Backer, PhD, is a psychologist, author and Senior Research Fellow at California State University Northridge. His most recent book is Strategies to Scale Up Social Programs, published by the Wallace Foundation.  He has been part of LitFest since 2019, and was opening keynote speaker last year.
