Poetry of Preservation: Other Californias and Beyond, Sunday, May 5, 3:30 – 4:30pm

Michelle Brittan Rosado is the author of Why Can’t It Be Tenderness, which won the Felix Pollak Prize in Poetry and was published by University of Wisconsin Press. Her chapbook, Theory on Falling into a Reef, was the winner of the inaugural Rick Campbell Prize from Anhinga Press. Born in San Francisco, she earned an MFA in Creative Writing from California State University, Fresno, and a PhD Literature & Creative Writing from the University of Southern California, where she is now an Assistant Professor of Teaching in The Writing Program.
