Denise Dumars is a widely published and awarded writer of poetry and short fiction. She is currently nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her work appears in numerous journals and anthologies; most currently her story “Scrape” was published in Other Terrors: An Inclusive Anthology and her most recent chapbook of poetry is called Cajuns in Space and Other Speculative and Fantasy Poems. Her collection of poetry Paranormal Romance: Poems Romancing the Paranormal was nominated for the Elgin Award, and her poems have been nominated several times for the Rhysling and Dwarf Stars awards.
