Denise Dumars is a widely published and awarded writer of poetry and short fiction. She is currently nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her work appears in numerous journals and anthologies; most currently her story “Scrape” was published in Other Terrors: An Inclusive Anthology and her most recent chapbook of poetry is called Cajuns in Space and Other Speculative and Fantasy Poems. Her collection of poetry Paranormal Romance: Poems Romancing the Paranormal was nominated for the Elgin Award, and her poems have been nominated several times for the Rhysling and Dwarf Stars awards. She lives in L.A.’s beautiful South Bay region but her heart is in New Orleans.,
