Holly Watson is the founder of HWPR, a literary publicity firm based in LA in 2015. She has been working in publishing since the late 90’s, when she lived and worked in NYC at publishers such as W.W. Norton & Co., Basic Books and Viking Penguin Books and then moved to LA in the early aughts where she continued working at Viking Penguin. HWPR is now the primary publicity contact for Akashic Books, an indie publisher based in Brooklyn, but they also regularly work on books published by other companies, including: National Geographic, Oxford University Press, Princeton University Press, Red Hen Press, Harper Collins, Liveright and more.
